Nothing Happened

I finally pressed the button, nothing happened.

I expected a quick reply, but 5 minutes later, nothing happened.

I waited for an hour, then 2, but nothing happened.

My face turned red, then blue, yet nothing happened.

You must be busy, since nothing happened.

There had to be a reason for why nothing happened.

It's now been a week since nothing happened.

And I feel so weak, since nothing happened.

Then out the blue

I get a call

She had the flu

which caused a stall

she saw my text

guess whats next

we had a date

my night was great

I took her home

then called her phone

and nothing happened...
