Fear by Drake-
I heard this song in my bedroom a few weeks ago, and immediately I fell in love. Drakes soft voice and heartfelt tone creates a vibe unparalleled with anything else I've ever heard. Lyrically there seems to be no filler words, everything is from the heart and meaningful. My favorite line by far is "and that security follow me everywhere, so I never actually am alone, I just always feel alone". I kind of relate because I'm an only child and I feel alone a lot, so I make sure I'm always texting, snapping, or facetiming someone all day long.
No complaints by Metro Boomin, Drake, and Offset-
I heard this song for the first time when I was hanging out with one of my best friends and from the rip I knew it was a banger. The production is another marvelous beat made by metro boomin, and the lyrics are from two of my favorite artists, drake and offset. Offsets verse was mediocre I typically expect a little better from who I believe is the best rapper from the trio of Migos, but it still fit in the song nonetheless. Drake on the other hand bodies this track. The opening lines of his verse make the song in my opinion. Drake begins his verse by saying "at 17 I wanted everything that was in store, at 23 I bought it all just to make sure". I feel like everyone can relate to this no matter who they are. I'm 17 and I have so many goals for myself, and there are so many things I want to own in the future. When I'm 23 I want to buy my first house, and own a luxury car. I'm sure everyone else had similar goals when they were young whether it was buying a house, or starting their own business.
I'm The One Dj Khaled ft Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, Quavo, and Lil Wayne-
This song released the day of junior prom. My friends and I left school early to play basketball at my friend Austin's house, and grill burgers before we got ready for the dance. That day was so much fun we played for a few hours, ate, then went home to get ready for j-prom. My favorite part of this song would be from Lil Wayne. He has a line that for some reason really sticks with me "Im the best out yet my best has yet to come". This is the best part of the song in my opinion, I feel like I'm a great person but better things are coming to me.
